Marci and Aurie are two real-life moms who have given up on mastering this parenting thing and are now just concentrating on keeping everyone alive. If that alone isn’t a near impossible feat some days, they decided to homeschool just to up the level of difficulty. So, if you are like them and aren’t so much trying to stick the landing as not face plant, join them on the Snarky Homeschool Moms podcast.
Marci Goodwin is a wife, homeschool mom, science geek, softball coach, hockey mom and blogger who needs her morning coffee, hair done and make-up on before attempting of those things. She has survived the infant stage, toddlers, pre-school, and elementary ages and has graduated to pre-teens and teens. It is yet to be determined if she will make it to graduation with her sanity intact. You can find her blogging and sharing her geeky side at The Homeschool Scientist
Aurie Good is a mom of 5 incredibly adorable kids who keep her hopping all day long. She’s given up on eating a hot meal, showering without kids banging on the door, and has yet to finish a sentence without interruption. A reluctant homeschool convert, she now homeschools year round and somehow manages to keep up with the laundry, dishes and everything else. A passionate advocate for foster care, she and her husband have been foster parents for the past 7 years and adopted their son Samuel from the foster care system 2 years ago. They are anxiously waiting to finalize the adoption of the sibling set they have been caring for the last 2 years. When she’s not locked in the bathroom eating chocolate, you can find her blogging about homeschool, Disney World and foster care at Our Good Life. She totally believes that friends are cheaper than therapy because most days, her friends are what keep her sane.
